The Method
Speed isn’t a gift.
It’s a system.
Over the past 20+ years, KPM has fine-tuned a unique, evidence-based training system using proprietary resistances that yield results at a profound rate. Every athlete is tested, profiled, and trained against four pillars.
Acceleration
The positive change of rate of speed. Every single sport starts in a static position or at a sub-maximal speed — the athletes who separate are the ones who get to top speed first.

Initial Force Generation
Creating more force in a shorter period of time to displace the center of mass in the desired direction. This is where explosive first-step quickness is built.

Center of Mass Management
The ability to direct your base of support out of frame in the most advantageous position to change direction or stop. Cutting, stopping, and re-accelerating all live here.

Max Velocity
Training at max velocity enhances the central nervous system's output, yielding downstream effects that create better results across all three previous pillars.

Full Panel Gait Analysis
A full-panel, 360-degree movement analysis that determines an athlete's deficiencies across Acceleration, Initial Force Generation, Center of Mass Management, and Max Velocity — including real-time asymmetry evaluation on the Trazer system.
What gets tested
- 10-yard dash
- 20-yard dash
- Vertical leap
- Broad jump
- Lateral bound
- Four jump
- RSI
- Trazer testing
- Max velocity

- National averages
After testing, athletes receive access to their results through the KPM client portal and app — an objective blueprint of their athletic profile — then select a training schedule based on their deficiencies and program availability.

Displacement
How well you move yourself within each test.

Where you compare to others your age across the country.
Symmetry
Assessing balance and asymmetries within the body.

About the race
Hurdles.
Hurdling originated in England in the early 19th century. The runners race over a series of obstacles called hurdles, which are set a fixed distance apart. Runners must remain in assigned lanes throughout a race, and, although they may knock hurdles down while running over them, a runner who trails a foot or leg alongside a hurdle or knocks it down with a hand is disqualified. The first hurdler to complete the course is the winner.
